demain c'est première course en Belgique!

29 May
We ventured into Belgium again today with Cedric and encountered some pretty storng winds here! seems to be the norm here strong winds. Cedric was teaching us how to ride in the winds, read the wind directions and also riding echlons. Here in the photos you can see that we went to explore some cobblestone sections and felt how it was like to ride on pave! its crazy! we also explored an old castle! on the way back we had a little sprint and to the top of the bridge! speed was really high as we had a strong tailwind! 59kph!

went to the town centre in the afternoon, was really crazy the traffic and i was quite stress driving as well, so many things are different here! managed to get loads of new foods and vegetables! it is now some WWII memorial thing so there were hundreds of boats which came to the dunkerque port and it was really crowded!

30th May
Today we watched the U23 Paris -Roubaix Race which was really quite an eye opener.. it was a really long day which started at 0600 and ended like at 1900? Taylor Phinney won.. we were practially in a race of our own chasing down the race in the car. There was also another nice sunset from the apartment!

31 May
Hung around the apartment in the morning, with crazy strong winds, seriously like i thought i would just fly away! and rain! and then in the afternoon went out for some intensity training with also crazy winds! 25kph at 300+ watts! the winds here really make singapore winds feel like a fan! did some laps and a few sprints too!
so managed to settle the internet in the apartment now finally, got a french line, and the most importantly settled the races too! tomorrow evening we (the guys) will be racing a U23 race in belgium 18X6km , probably going to be crazy hard and fast! and then after its like this! i think we will probaly be driving there on our own tomorrow! hope to hang on to the peloton tomorrow! now its off to bed!

Woke up at 5 couldn't really sleep in as long as I wanted due to the jet lag, had breakie and then lazed around for awhile b4 starting to dressup for the ride! Whoa it took us 30 mins to change, first time wearing so much to ride! Temps of about 13degress? On the road just 500 m Dinah had a crash, pothole plus sand. Spun around for awhile n then came home n napped! Cedric came over for lunch, den supermarket shopping where I drove here first time! After that we come home where I cooked n then we went out for our first group ride..smal hills where we were happily revving out legs!Came home to our hot pasta n omelette  n off to bed! Nice sunset!
